Grilled haloumi and apple

This is a great filling morning or afternoon tea and perfect to curb sugar cravings. Thanks to Sarah Wilson for the idea!

Ingredients

  • haloumi, sliced
  • 1 apple, cored and sliced
  • sprinkle ground cinnamon
  • squeeze lemon juice

Method

In a hot pan grill the haloumi and apple for a few minutes until the haloumi is cooked on both sides.

Remove the haloumi and apple from a pan, place it on a plate, squeeze the lemon juice over the top and sprinkle the cinnamon over the top.
