I’ve experimented with different sweeteners and ratios for this healthy chocolate mousse and I think this really hits the mark – its so decadent!
- 1 avocado
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon cacao
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional – 1 banana (if you’re having this as an anytime food I recommend skipping the banana)
Throw all of the ingredients in to a food processor and blitz until smooth and well combined, ensuring there are no lumps.
Serve with fresh berries (raspberries are my favourite) and eat within the hour to ensure the avocado doesn’t oxidize.
If you don’t tell your guests its based on avocado they’ll never know.
